STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. Students continue demonstrating basic keyboarding skills through the use of effective skill development materials and word processing knowledge. (I, II, III, IV, V)
II. Students apply keyboarding skill and word processing knowledge to practical on-the-job activities in both specialized and general office areas. (I, II, III, IV, V)
III. Students demonstrate a keen sense of responsibility for high-quality keyboarding work. (I, II, III, IV, V)
IV. Students demonstrate the ability to make decisions regarding the prioritizing of office jobs. (I, II, III, IV, V)
V. Students demonstrate keyboarding speed of at least 50 wpm on five-minute timings with a maximum of five errors.
VI. Students complete simulated office production work requiring application of basic keyboarding principles learned and will also develop decision-making skills. (I, II, III, IV, V)
