Course Description: | Introduces various types of hair, scalp treatments and shampoos. Focuses on recognition and treatment of disorders of hair and scalp, product knowledge and proper massage techniques to help control these disorders and cleanse the hair and scalp. Covers terminology dealing with hair structure scalp and hair disorders. Training is provided in a lab or classroom setting. |

STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
I. The learner will practice proper sanitation procedures.

V. The learner will demonstrate sequential steps in completing a treatment plan for various disorders.
