Students will acquire reading, English composition, English as a Second Language and/or mathematics skills through the use of course tutorial software and individualized instruction.

 I.      Knowledge
    A.     The Student will:
         1.      Acquire reading, writing, ESL and/or math skills through the use of course tutorial software and/or technological resources.
         2.      Develop problem-solving strategies for the associated course(s).
 II.    Skills (Standard Competencies)
    A.   The Student will:
         1.      Improve reading, writing, ESL and/or math skills through course tutoring.
         2.      Use technological resources (e.g. software, internet, calculator) appropriate to the course in which the student is enrolled.
 III.      Dispositions
    A.     The Student will:
         1.      Apply active learning strategies in co-requisite reading, writing, ESL, or math course(s).
         2.      Adopt success strategies that support academic and career goals.
         3.      Develop awareness of personal responsibility for success.
