STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
1. Assess and maintain scene safety when treating a medical patient
2. Obtain a patient history
3. Conduct a comprehensive physical exam
4. Formulate a treatment plan, including destination, based on differential diagnosis
5. Communicate effectively as a team member
6. Administer therapeutic interventions
7. Manage the airway of adult and pediatric patients experiencing medical emergencies
8. Reassess patients after therapeutic interventions have been administered
9. Provide complete documentation of a patient encounter
10. Demonstrate professionalism throughout all interactions
