STANDARD COMPETENCIES:
Reviews scene safety, quality improvement, health and safety of EMT, and safety.
Reviews OB and pediatric patient assessment and treatments.
Reviews Trauma patient assessment and treatment.
Reviews airway assessment and management.
Reviews medical/behavioral emergency patient assessment and management.
Provides elective material relevant to the practice of emergency medical care for the pre-hospital provider.
Reviews national EMT skills assessments
Ensures students are competent at national EMT skills performance
TOPICAL OUTLINE:
